This weeks Monday Manmeat is the one and only Gigi Buffon. I admit, it has taken me years to develop a taste for this amazingly coiffed hunk of Italian Sausage, but oh man do I see it now. Quick facts…goal keeper for Juve and Italian NT and won a world cup…blah blah blah.
I have a near uncontrollable obsession with this mans hair. As you will notice in the following picture Canna seems to be memorized by it as well.
Another thing I cannot get enough of is this mans name, I can say it over and over again in various accents and never want to stop. Gianluigi Buffon, say it with me Gianluigi Buffon. A friend once said to me “he is so Italian he must sweat extra virgin olive oil.” Even with all of this, all of his sexiness is in the hair. Not to mention the fact that no matter how poor his fashion choices he always looks ALL MAN!
If you look closely in this picture, he is wearing bobby pins. The man wears barretts and I still want to jump him. Yes I did just actually say that and I stand behind it. He could have little pink butterflies on them and would still be more man than any man ever.
And in this picture he is carrying my favorite accessory, the manbag! I have expressed my love of the manbag on many occasions. I can say now with certainty, Gigi carries more manliness in the strap of his manbag than 99% of the male population could ever hope to have.
And in this last picture he is touching Iaquinta’s head (my other obscure obsession, Iaquinta’s head).
Gianluigi = sexiest of the sexy beasts

JACK BAUER! no no not Kiefer, this is all about the one and only Jack Bauer. As many know I have an obsession with 24 and anything said or done by this man. He is a family man, never waivers in his principles, hates terrorists, and looks damn sexy while doing all of the above.
Jack has quite the resume, former Delta Force, former CIA, former head of CTU, died and came back to life-- twice, saved the world from nuclear threat at least twice, been awesome a million times, excellent skills with a hacksaw, etc.
He can save the world on his own with the help of his trusty gun.
Jack does not trust many people, but he does trust his also sexy side-kick Tony Almeida
Jack is so secure in his manly manly manhood that he rocks a man bag and rocks it good.

I am also patiently awaiting my French love Mr. Lashes Gourcuff to appear in some sort of photo carrying one, preferably with a baguette sticking out of it.
Now that background is established, on to my dream. I was somewhere I think a coffee shop or bar or something like that chatting with a nice young man. He was debating on if he wanted to buy a carrying device that resembled a man-bag and I strongly advocated the purchase. Since my dreams are often fuzzy and I have a horribly memory I cannot remember the arguments I used to convince him, so I spent the past few days thinking of good reasons to carry a man-bag.
1. Where else are you going to put your things?
2. Some people may call you a “sissy” or “girly” for carrying one, but I think it is extra manly. I mean it takes a bit of a “I don’t give a flip, I know I am hot” or maybe a "I am super european" attitude to rock the man purse
3. I just really like purses of any sort.
I am sure there are many other reasons to carry a man-bag, and I will post them time to time. But for now I am going to say it with pride I FRICKIN’ LOVE MAN-BAGS, and the wonderful euro-trash men who carry them.
*Clarification: I don’t place Cristiano above San Iker or el Ramos on hottness, just fit better into the story. There are very few that come close to those two in my heart. Few if any can compare to Iker and his keeper gloves and armband with spain. And can never get enough of Ramos and his euro-trash man bag toting glory.
